Title Music Demo

The Goal

This is a mod which causes music to play while you are in the title screen of Fractal Block World. That is, when you first start the program, the engine searches for a folder called base_main_menu to play music from. It looks for this folder in MOD/Music where MOD is any of the mods you have selected for the base package.

Download and Install the Mod

Here is the zip file to download.

Install it in the Input/Packages directory of Fractal Block World.

Open up Fractal Block World and go to Options -> Select Mod -> Select Package.
Now select the base package. That is critical.

Then in the mod selector GUI, move the mod called title_music_demo from the left column to the right column.

Exit the program and start it up again. The music should be playing.

Making Your Own Version of this Mod

The simplest way to make your own version of this mod is to simply copy the folder title_music_demo.

In the Music/base_main_menu subfolder of the copy, put the music (mp3) files that you want to be played in the title screen.

Something to Note

If you open the game while using the mod but then play a game that does not select a playlist to be played, the title music will continue to play.

The Music

The particular mp3 file this mod plays is Summer from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Here is a youtube link for where this music is located. It says it is copyright free.
